What person in their right mind wants to go to a public Hot tub? I know many high end spas have them but they are cleaned and sanitized after every use and only one person is in the tub.( I least I hope they are cleaned) That's like sharing a hot tub with strangers on a cruise ship. No thanks! Also how do you know the people who were in this hot tub before you weren't nasty or that they didn't shower? I am sitting in funk.

Yeah, cause the hermetically sealed yahoos on this thread don't use public toilets without the paper butt gasket, breathe only pumped in raw oxygen when they slobber around Roosevelt Field with their booger nosed, coughing kids in tow and NEVER use a hotel resort hot tub where the newlyweds just got hammered and boinked in it.

The aquatic center hot tub is rarely used and when it is mostly (except LICD'ers apparetnly) used by those who shower first or at least just exited a heavily chlorinated pool.

I'm more worried about germs at the supermarket or kids events than a hot tub which is chemically treated to kill off anything that lives, including humans. But I'm sure the OP thanks everyone for NOT answering the question but offering their stellar lifestyle choice opinions instead. Classic.

A heavily chlorinated pool is not sanitary.
Water chemistry needs to be balanced.
You will not smell chlorine when chemistry is prooerly balanced.

Again, thanks for answering a question no one asked. I love pools, hot tubs and saunas. Bring on the cooties.
