Inventory seems to have opened up in Nassau the past week or two. I can't picture all of the newly available houses selling the week they list now. Hopefully supply and demand are evening out.

I think it is. I went to two open houses today and they were both empty. Nobody showed up to either the entire time I was at them.

Today was not a good day for an Open House IMO. It's the day many are returning from vacation, and also we were expecting another snow storm up until recently.

The other one I went to was on Gold Place in Malverne, around the block from my parents house. Had to check it out. Very nice house, but too expensive at $669k
Yes it does, my realtor sent me that one. It was extremely popular, the price brought a lot of activity. I didn't get a chance to see it during it's open house lasts week because I had an appointment with a wedding venue during the hours of the open house. There are so many coming to the market right now that I forgot about it. But it's definitely nice, if it's still available, I'll try to check it out.
Careful there - it's also within a five minute walk of Mulcahy's, arguably one of the most popular bars on Long Island for decades.
If that fact makes that house worth it, then it truly defines the LI mental state to a tee.
