I currently have a one car driveway and interested in making it a two car driveway without changing the skirt at the street.

Has anyone does this?

Approximate Cost?

Does this increase property tax?

I am in the Town of Smithtown.

Appreciate any feedback.

Thank you

I am looking to do the same thing and I am also in Smithtown. I got a quote last fall for a new asphalt single driveway, 50' long 11' wide. It will have brick border, brick apron at end of driveway and top of driveway. Included is also a 5' walkway around the attached garage and front stoop/landings in pavers, all for 10 grand.

I want to call him back because I want to extend the driveway at the top to hold two cars and keep the single entry. Want to see how much more that is. Not sure about the impact on taxes.

Should no affect taxes.

There is a limit on how much of your lot you can improve with pavers, driveways, patios etc.

It's called a pork chop.
Easily done if you have the room.
