Does anyone have their shed in their side yard?

In Town of Smithtown, website says this is not allowed. Will anyone really bother you about this?

TIA.

Yes, you can not have a shed on the side of your home in Town of Smithtown.

No, the will not bother you as long as your neighbor does not complain and it is not excessive in size.

If you have rotten bitter neighbors they could rat you out.
There is also a chance of randomly getting caught by the town.
But, tons of people put up pools, sheds, even dormers and such with no problems ever.
Me personally, I'll do what I please on my property (within reason), and wouldnt hesitate to put up a shed.
Worst case it can be moved. I would advise against pouring a concrete slab though.
It's a little more permanent and harder to make it disappear.

Plant a wall of Leyland cypress around your yard like I did, and nobody can see what you do.

That is what i am working on now, what is the best foundation for this?

Thinking 2x4's and concrete cinder blocks at each corner.

Do you think this would work?

Also looking for someone to put this together for us, if you know anyone HAHA

Use treated lumber. You can get away with 2x4's but I recommend using 2x6's.
Build the foundation and level it with bricks, pavers, whatever.

I have also built a few foundations using pallets. Depends on the circumstances though.
