Yes, I'm familiar. There are no study guides or exam prep material. If you've been working under a licensed contractor or home improvement licensee, and have had some access to the office end of the business, you should be fine.

Consumer Affairs office in Happaugue. When I did the test over 15 years ago, they gave you a little booklet and the test was ten questions that basically dealt with business and contracts.

That's the ridiculous part of the whole thing. There's a local hack who has screwed up, folded, and had his mother take the test. He screwed up, folded, and then had his wife take the test. The test should have some general knowledge questions pertaining to the field as well, but doesn't. Money grab...
