Unless the trip will be for longer than a couple of weeks the cheapest, and certainly most convenient way, would be to drive your own vehicle and leave it at one of the long term lots, probably off the airport grounds.
JFK long term parking. My family (of 4) just got back from a 12 day vacation in Europe. It would have cost about $180 for a car service (including tip) back and forth. Long term parking was $195, and we don't have to wait for anyone. That's my plan for future trips. Worth it for me.
