Wading river things to do (Riverhead, Amagansett: to buy, restaurant, beach)

guys - i'm visiting a peach farm in wading river tomorrow and was scouting some forums to find a good place to eat. Ideally we'd love an outdoor shack serving lobster and other fried seafood - does anybody know of a place nearby? I know plenty in hamptons but none in this general area. We'll be commuting back west to the LIE so open to driving too

also any other things to do with young kids?

Sound Bistro on Sound Avenue in Riverhead (it used to be a sibling of the Lobster Roll in Amagansett, but lacking the character). Has large outdoor space, but not a "seafood shack." There are other options further east, but not worth your while going the opposite direction.

I don't have kids, but LI Aquarium? Splish Splash?

Fried seafood? Can get that anywhere. Go to La Plage, make a reservation. You'll be right on the beach there, so you can do that w the kids. By dinner time they won't be checking for resident parking tags.

Chose la plage since sound bistro closed tuesday
Do we need to buy some parking tags to have lunch at la plage?

Any other places that aren't a restaurant? Just outdoor shack

they have their own parking lots, one small one and one just past it on the same side.
