I am in contract and am getting estimate of closing costs from different banks and am getting crazy variables for Title insurance,

how do you determine title insurance for your property in NYS or LI?

Is it normal to pay for bank attorney fees? survey? appraisal?

what is the % number to determine the mortgage tax in Nassau County LI?

All help will be highly appreciated...

Its set by the underwriter but limited by ny state

Yes

what is the % number to determine the mortgage tax in Nassau County LI?

It depends on the town and purchase price.
