And I think we can include treating citizens like crap under the term corrupt if you don't follow politics and the endless crimes of these people you can still vote in poll.
Try this on Google, type in the name of any LI town plus the word corruption and search. These crooks never stop and the stuff in the news is only when they get caught, tip of iceberg.
From what I have seen over the last 40 years or so, almost all of the townships on LI are corrupt. It's now very systematic, from Albany on down to the smallest hamlet. Oh, and notice how almost all of the business expansion news involves IDA hand-outs to businesses that will never enrich the taxpayers' lives. It's become a back-door to raiding tax revenue that should be spent on infrastructure and services, clearly a way for politicians' to grow their pay to play funding.
It's all about power and greed. These filthy scumbags don't give a damn about taxpayers.
All they care about is themselves.
