If you can afford it max out any 403 or retirement plans your job offers. As long as it's pre tax for every 10k you add it will reduce your years end tax bill around $2200( depends on your bracket). Mine as well pay the old version fo you and not the gov.

What about presenting some viable facts, as per the US Treasury these are the debt facts: https://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/...ebt_histo5.htm

In the year:

2017 - 2018 1.27T
2016 - 2017 671B
2015 - 2016 1.42T
2014 - 2015 1.63T
2013 - 2014 1.09T

Your welcome to compare it further down but as you can see it is far less than the 2T you stated and overall far less than during the previous administration. But I do agree that the national debt continues to be the largest it's ever been ....

Guess I’m one of the elite, otherwise known as one of those who actually pays taxes and doesn’t get a return.

Winning!

Where do you get this nonsense from? Since 1973 we had ONE (1) "Republican" Governor in the State of New York. The NY Assembly has been Democratic for ages. The GOP has had a small minority in the NY Senate for awhile.

What's the 'TRUTH' here?

The truth is no matter how bad you get screwed you just blame it on the political party you dislike and round and round we go. It’s pointless. Glad everyone is happy that middle class people got hurt for revenge. We are going down a great path in this country.

It really is a terrible time for politics. People need to actually try to work together. Sure, we can disagree with one another, but the last 8 years or so, things have really gone to $hit. Forget about moving off the island, it might be time to move out of the U.S.
