Hi. I’m moving to Salisbury and I need to take the LIRR to work. Since my home is not in Westbury village, the non resident parking permit fee is $600. This is way too much money! Most train stations are a couple hundred dollars but $600 is absurd. Can anyone suggest other parking arrangements? Is there street parking? I work Mon-Fri so the $5/day parking lot is not cost effective. Thanks in advance for all tips.
You can get a town of hempstead parking pass for $10 per YEAR. It allows you to park at any of 4 different stations along the Babylon line. Bellmore is closet and 10-12 minutes from Salisbury.
