Lol at anyone thinking Ronkonkoma is any bit of a scary place. The only scary place in all of Suffolk County are some blocks in North Bellport.

I agree. Ronkonkoma is just like most other towns on LI. The issue is the gang problems are starting to spread out from their concentrated areas. It may be centralized in certain towns, but the ramifications can still displayed in a large radius.

One guy was from Amityville and the other from Central Islip. Unfortunately for Ronkonkoma gangbangers like IHOP.

Suffolk is just a lose-lose situation.
Even in areas with very good economies, you are seeing some similar incidents. I think the thing that hasn’t really been talked about is that concentrated poverty has increased in 2/3rds of top 100 metro areas in recent years and this goes for areas that range from the Rust Belt/Midwest to even some of the popular ones in the South.

You can also just search for similar incidents and see where they occur.

LI has been circling the drain for years.
There's denialists but anyone with a brain knows the deal. Even the east end is headed downhill as the western migrants bring their garbage mentality and lifestyles with them.
Whatever. It is what it is. Ronkonkoma aint so bad. I don't like ihop and the rent is too damn high.

All that matters is house values and a large portion of Suffolk is stagnant for 10 years. That’s not alarming?

What's so wrong about home values maintaining at a certain level? That's how it should be. Homes shouldn't be a piggy bank. Greed drives up home prices so that they become unaffordable for many people. And I'm not talking about skells but people with "decent" incomes that work hard and deserve a shot at home ownership.

This is not true either. In matter of fact just doing a quick search from 2017 to 2018 Suffolk was up like 7%.

Not as much as Nassau, but Suffolk has always lagged behind.

This house is a good example of the problems Suffolk homeowners will have in the future. Isn’t Sayville supposed to be nice?

^^Speaking of Sayville, it was in the news that some 30 year old winner brutally attacked and blinded the grandmother that he lived with today..
