Have you considered buying a low-priced higher mileage Camry or a similar car and then selling it at the end of the summer?

The lease swap is a good idea, but you will need to register, insure, etc. and pay close attention to the lease terms and any damage to the car. We got rid of a barely used leased car of a deceased relative through one of those sites. The car rental places all have long term options, but not cheap and if you are renting, be aware that your insurance and credit card damage waivers generally do not apply to rentals over 30 days. Or, google car subscription or auto subscription -- much more prevalent in the south and west, but you can likely find some around here were you subscribe rather than purchase a car in 30+ day increments.

nyc_sport is right about the insurance issues. Car subscription was my thought but I don't even know if they do that short of a term. Your best bet may be to buy the cheapest car you can and get rid of it at the end of the summer.
