Hi all, we have a detached garage in TONH. We were considering having the floor redone as the one in there now looks original and is pitched slightly back and has a few cracks. I can't seem to find any info if a permit is needed to break up the old floor and lay down fresh concrete in there. Curious if this is considered permitted work.

You’re going to break the slab cause of a few cracks? All cement cracks. Maybe look into garage flooring options. Probably a lot cheaper.

As per your original question. Your job is probably considered a repair and not an addition or alteration
