Yes. Now imagine that noise, reduced, and coming and going every minute.

on a day that has the airplanes landing from the north. Right now there's low traffic too. Last friday was hell.
I understand all that, but I would still like video. I comprehend the situation, but I'm prevented from having empathy for you because I don't have video.

I don't have one and right now traffic is going in from south.
I'll shoot a video when they change the route back from north.
I find it amazing what goes on. I buy a house by an airport, or in a flight path, and now I want them to stop. Unreal.
Some things for the non-suffering public:
-People may buy houses when the flight path is not there at the moment (months at a time some times).
-It's not close to an airport. It's up to 20 miles away from any airport.
-Nobody is asking to make them stop. There are other ways.

-Flight patterns change. They always have, and any reasonable person buying or living so close to an airport should realize that.
-In terms of aircraft, 20 miles is nothing. We've been over this, you and I, but as usual, you bury your head in the sand. If you live anywhere in Nassau County or Western Suffolk, you're going to be affected by aircraft noise.
-No, there's not. Unless you're looking to somehow land aircraft vertically.

You need to get a life and stop concentrating on the planes. I spent 59 years there in the direct flight path, still have family within a mile of my home and more family in Floral Park, so I have been there recently and I find no difference in what it was like for all those years. BTW. If you find what we all have to say on the subject annoying put us in ignore. In the meantime, I will continue to monitor and chime in as I see fit because, I am amused by your childlike belief that this will change and that the change will be soon. I admire your belief that it will, after all we all need a unicorn to latch ourselves to.

And if you read the actions section, the senate passed it but the Aessembly returned it to the environmental conservation committee. Call us in 6 months.
Sorry, if you read my post above I stated that it had passed. Not breaking and it is a non starter unless the assembly moves it to a vote.
