Hi guys, I am new to here and hopefully someone will answer my question.
I bought a 1900 sqft house in GN area recently. Its condition is fine but I still want to renovate the interior because I want it to look "new".
I am not sure if you will call it a full house renovation but basically these below are what I want to do:

1. change all the wooden floor
2. paint all the wall
3. kitchen renovation, replace all the cabinets, tilt
4. bath room renovation for 2.5 bath rooms
5. replace windows
6. enlarge 2 windows on the first floor to make them French windows to the backyard

So my question are:

1. what would be the cost range for the above renovation assuming that I don't use any expensive material?
2. are there any good and affordable company/contractor you can recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Good contractors should not be affordable.

You get what you pay for in this area. GN zip code automatically jacks the price up. Every estimate varies, but expect 6 figure estimates.

I’m pretty much doing the same thing but in steps. If I was you I would look at each individual project as a separate item so you can have a better idea of where your cost is coming In. No one can estimate anything on that. Square footage and material choice changes every thing. A bathroom can be 10-20 grand a kitchen can be 30-70 upwards alone.

Don’t cheap out but you don’t have to go crazy. Seems to be an entire renovation so do it right. If anything skip doing a bathroom or 2 and do that down the road. Don’t rush everything. This is why I chose to do mine in steps.

Hire licensed and reputable contractors for the important stuff, like structural/safety items, rough plumbing, electric, etc.
Then you can sub out the cheapo labor for finish work and odds/ends like tape/spackle/paint, trim work, etc if you want to save a few bucks.
