Increase if I read the notice in today's paper.
Surely, $5 for a Sunday paper is sufficient when the post charges $2.

When I was growing up during the 70s, Newsday was a Pulitzer winning newspaper. Today, the articles are breezy at best, nothing too detailed. I guess they believe people just don't have the attention span nor reading skills for real journalism. I do get a laugh they pulled their comment system on the online version because it was such a complaint firestorm. Of course, Newsday rarely reports about those complaints, preferring instead to go along to get along.

So vote with your wallet. They aren't holding a gun to your head to buy it.

Not too smart to drop a Lincoln to buy a paper with yesterday's news one has already read on the internet.

I remember delivering to homes when Newsday was five cents daily, 25 cents on Sunday.
Now this is the definition of inflation !!

Newsday is a very leftist paper with a lot of articles supporting illegals on Long Island and every opinion piece is anti-Trump. That's a bad business strategy because illegals don't buy Newsday and Suffolk County tends to be more conservative than the rest of the NY metro area and voted for Trump in 2016.

When I had my Newsday paper route in the 70's The Sunday paper was two inches thick. We lugged those papers on our bikes around the neighborhood. Now the Sunday paper is a half inch thick, and the route person puts a tip envelope in it every week.

I wouldn’t pay a penny for that rag of a paper

Do you remember how thick that paper was back on those days? Nowadays there's barely anything in it. Best use is for lining bird cages, pet cages or when you run out of TP.
