With her diagnosis I would look at Carman Ave BOCES, United Cerebral Palsy, and Henry Viscardi as the special schools in Nassau. I am not as familiar with the special schools in Suffolk. Due to her severity, I would think most if not all districts would place her in a special school.
Now, where are you looking to live in terms of proximity to employment? Do you have jobs lined up?
BTW the Joseph Sam's school down by you looks pretty comparable to the special schools here. I question whether the schools here would be significantly better for your child.
