According to the Census Bureau's online address search function, located at 4925 Merrick Road, Massapequa High School is in the Village of Massapequa Park ("Massapequa, NY 11758" mailing address).

I'm guessing that you skipped over the word major as in " ... here are the major population groups in the Hamlet of East Massapequa ... "

Massapequa High School is in Massapequa Park, just feet away from East Massapequa.

I think you are talking about the Jr. High (used to be Berner HS at one time). The High School is on Merrick Rd more than a few feet away from E. Massapequa and located in Massapequa, not Massapequa Park. I didn't know you ever got any of these wrong.

I'm not infallible, and have been known to get things wrong, but if Massapequa High School is at 4925 Merrick Road, then, according to the Census Bureau's online address search function, it's in the Village of Massapequa Park ("Massapequa, NY 11758" mailing address) and the eastern border of the Village of Massapequa Park is the western border of the Hamlet of East Massapequa.

You're right Walter. That would be Massapequa HS on Merrick Rd.

Berner is at:
50 Carman Mill Road
Massapequa, NY 11758

I was only kidding around, I usually take your word for it. I think it was clear that when most people in this thread were referring to East Massapequa, and mentioned the school being 'across the street' they meant Carmen Mill Rd, where Berner is located. Was that what you meant initially?

If you check back, you'll see that the 'across the street' reference was in relation to the doctor's office, which is in East Massapequa ("Massapequa, NY 11758" mailing address).
