Got My Property Tax Relief Check! Who Should I Thank?

Yes, I got the Relief (third and supposedly final one) check right after Thanksgiving.

What I have NOT yet got, however, is the check for the STAR amount that used to be deducted from my property tax bill automatically, even though the property tax bill itself arrived a week ago.

However, it's been in the news recently that all of those checks (for both Basic and Enhanced STAR) are going to be late because of a glitch in the processing. They "expect" that the checks will arrive before January 10th which is the deadline for paying the tax bill, but it's annoying for people like me who either want or need to pay their taxes in the current calendar year specifically.

Thanks BBC...I know Im not there only one who hasn't gotten their own money back. How about just deduct it off my taxes instead of using my money to make interest.
