Hi, I am interested in moving to one of the villages/towns. What are the relative merits of each, in terms of commute, safety, walkability and nature, curb appeal and sense of community? Many thanks in advance.

p.s.: I am single and just need a small house but prefer a decent backyard. I don't want to pay high taxes.
