Actually the area around Milton looks a lot like the North Shore north of 25A.

Not the most preferred one, I think they were pretty scared of venturing beyond NC unless they were retiring, its only now they are moving anywhere.

Yeah - there are some neat pockets sprinkled around everywhere, very hilly and picturesque.

Funny about the garbage pickup bill where I am now. It's not included in the property taxes; rather it's bundled with the water bill. Pickup is about $15 and change a month.
He’s on the North Fork but even the Hamptons my sister was on well water, no garbage pickup etc.

Our water/sewer/garbage is all bundled here too.

Garbage pick up is expensive out here.
And you still need to put it in the town bags which are around 7 bucks or so a pack. That's just regular household. Any type of bulk/debris is more. Recyclables need to be sorted as well.
I self haul. The dump is actually like a social hub. Lol.

Many cidiots just take it home and put it out to the curb with their regular garbage.
The real scumbags dump it in town garbage cans or worse, throw it in the woods or the side of the road. Lazy entitled scumbags.

I moved from LI to NNJ when I still needed to be near NYC. Moved to Oregon when I didn't!
