I've noticed that many people seem to have nothing but good things to say about both Main Streets in Huntington and in Babylon. What are the differences? Are they very much alike? Which would you consider more fun for the younger age groups 20's-30's? Are there cool pubs and lounges for a night out to be found in both?

I could never decide which I like better. They are both great. Huntington has an 8 plex movie theatre and The Book Revue. Babylon has The Armadillo Grill & and Lily Flannagans and Babylon beaches. If you love the beach....then pick Babylon.

I think that Huntington's nightlife is more geared to younger people who come out from even the city. Babylon's more of an older crowd which is fine with this senior .
Babylon also comes alive in the summer. There are baskets of flowers hanging from every lamppost and gardens everywhere ( village taxes). The waterfalls in Argyle Park and & the canals that come right up to the village itself make Babylon a very nautical place.

But, Huntington is wonderful, too. Both towns have wonderful restaurants and pretty little shops.

LOL! We ate there when we first moved here, then a few months later we saw Kitchen Nightmares.

Try Pronto's instead. Great service and wonderful food and you will spot the mayor almost every evening (big excitement....).
