There is a large albino deer that lives in the town of brookhaven dump on horseblock road. During our home reno we would go there often & I saw him more than once.
its freaky, he's got no camoflague ability at all.

There are about a dozen albino deer that live on Brookhaven Lab. Recessive gene...or some weird experiment at the lab gone awry...you decide

There are other bad side effects associated with albinism in deer:

"According to the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease study in Georgia, albino deer often have poor hearing, subpar eyesight and deformed feet and legs.

Even if they do manage to camouflage their white coats and avoid predators, their life expectancy is only three to four years."

I've never seen a true albino deer at the lab, just several piebald ones - they are the ones that are both white and tan. I think I have a few pictures at the office somewhere. Maybe I can dig one up.
