Restaurant for 17 - private room? (Hempstead, Huntington: price, garden, business) - Long Island - New York (NY) - City-Data Forum

Looking for a restaurant with a private or semi private room that can hold 17 people for a Friday night get together. I would like it to be no more than 10 or 15 minutes from Merrick and to spend 30 bucks a person - not including drinks or tip. Looking for Italian or American food. Any thoughts?

Try Dianes on bryant Street in Roslyn.....although its about 15-20 mins....its worth the trip.

Sergio's in Massapequa is good and they have a semi-private room, the owner is very nice and always on site... price would probably be in line with what you're looking at as well.

Try Domenico's in Levittown on Hempstead Tpk.

They have a few private rooms and homemade pasta. I think they have been in business since the 1960's.
