FP NYC is fine until high school. Would not recommend Martin Van Buren High School.

NYC high schools are not zoned anymore so it does not make a difference

Add city income tax and this administration’s desire to return to the age of bussing and it’s not such a good deal. I wouldn’t live in the city for any amount of lower property tax. School doing well? Well, we’ll just bring in the kids from the crappy district next door.

I guess the biggest question is your ethnicity or how comfortable you are being in a neighborhood with a huge majority of a certain ethnicity.

Floral Park Queens is basically Bellerose and is primarily Indian and Pakistani.
Floral Park Nassau is primarily white.
