Okay, the safest way is to make your coffee at home. However, is it safer to get coffee at a drive-thru or a 7-Eleven? Today, I got mine at King Kullen Bellmore, where you grab a cup and place it under the roaster, and you put your money in the slot.
---
Dunkin near Wantagh train station has no drive-thru, and the lot was empty. McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Starbuck's, appear to be the major sources of coffee drive-thru.

I've still been getting coffee at Starbucks, and as long as they take precautions I don't see it as being any riskier. If someone sneezed on that King Kullen cup, or touched the money slot area it would be the same thing.

When I get my coffee I put it down and then use hand sanitizer while driving away.

It's safest to stop doing drugs guys. Plus you go to the bathroom less often. Where further germs are.

You're overthinking it. Enjoy your coffee and don't live in paranoia.

Stop N Shop in Farmingdale has a coffee machine, only $1.25 for a small cup and it's surprisingly good.

I'm surprised you haven't figured out a way to get it for free by ripping someone off.

Wouldn't you rather go to a McDonald's drive-thru where that's more fresh and convenient?
