Based on data from these local hospitals: Glen Cove Hospital, LIJ Valley Stream, Mercy Medical Center, NUMC, North Shore University, Plainview Hospital, Mt Sinai South Nassau, St Franics Hospital, St Joseph Hospital, Syosset Hospital
Latest test results are LI 16.7% positive for the antibodies...too lazy to do the math but that same test extrapolates to about 2.7 million New Yorkers who had the virus. (Apparent 21% of NYCers have been exposed already)

Governor Cuomo said today that he believes, based on the expanded sampling, that a full 24.7% of New York City residents have the antibodies (meaning, they had the virus). With an 8.5 city million population that is something.
He also said 14.5% of Long Island's 2.7 million residents have the antibodies. That would be 391,500.
Nassau reports 35,000 cases based on positive tests.
Suffolk reports 33,000 cases based on positive tests.
For those who thought (for some reason) that the number of positive tests corresponded with the number of actual cases of Covid-19 infection, that should be an eye opener. This is a virus that apparently yields no symptoms in the majority of cases and very mild symptoms on a huge percentage - it should be no surprise that the reported numbers are wildly off the mark regarding actual number of infected folks. About 1/5 of the actual LI cases have appeared in the LI stats for positive tests.

I have a lot of questions here. Starting with your last sentence here ^ what does this mean?
