The house was built in 1968, i was thinking it was an old septic. If it is, is it safe to cap it and bury it? There was water in there and it seemed to have sewage in it still some how. I flushed the toilets in the house to see if it was active assuming i can hear a sound in there or see movement in the water but it seemed dead.
I would make sure that it isn’t an old block cesspool with collapse potential. Empty block pools are more dangerous.
