Sorry, but sadly this is totally outdated. Here's a link to the current status (if you refresh it, it'll update, usually around 3-4 hrs)

If you look at Brentwood and Central Islip, that's just about half of all cases in the Town of Islip :-(

Thanks, I posted this here because I haven’t seen a real town by town breakdown. I know of the website above but when I view it on my iphone, it only lists the Townships not each individual town. If anyone had a link for that information please post it it

The rising numbers of confirmed cases in Nassau/Suffolk have their own mathematical fascination (and are frightening to some).
No doubt the construction of temporary tents and hospitals (not to mention hospital ships) was frightening to some. In retrospect it appears the tents, temporary hospitals, and ships were unnecessary.
Wholesale school and business closures as well as blanket ‘stay home’ directions are similarly frightening.
The most respected models now predict 60K deaths nationwide.

Remove Brentwood/CI/BayShore(s) from Islip total and Islip goes from 1 to 4 in totals. 65% of Islip cases are in those 3 hamlets.

And what does that do? Every town can skew the statistics as well. Fact is town of Islip has been hit hard.

That is one thing about statistics. You can get the numbers to say whatever you want.
You can even get them to show that the number of cases and deaths has slowed and everyone returns to work.

Exactly. Nassau did the same thing. They split Salisbury, new cassel, and westbury separately. North and south wantagh, Farmingdale separate, etc. so they all show low numbers. Whereas they didn’t do the same for Levittown which can be split into 2/3 ways and Hicksville which also has a north and south.
