Landscaper did spring cleanup a few weeks ago and hasn’t been back. Just wondering if there’s been a sudden change in the non-essential rule for Nassau County. Neighborhood has been awfully quiet. I tried googling and can’t find anything. I would actually enjoy cutting it myself, but I don’t want to do it and then they show up and charge me. Or is it a bad idea to stir things up and possibly breathe in the virus since everything is still very unknown about it. I know I can call the landscaper, but I’d rather not be “that” annoying customer ha ha
They can work if they want to, but they don't HAVE to. I don't understand why you don't call a company that you employ and ask if they are working or not.
Lawn cutting is considered essential. New planting of flowers and such are not. I’m waiting for May to have mine done professionally. Company has to wait. Owner did say after May 1st he’s just going to open up one way or the other. So works for me. The same people he uses to cut the grass are the same ones to plant. So makes zero sense
Joyfully quiet for the most part. Rode through the neighborhoods today and only 1 truck was out blowing crap everywhere while the kids and everyone else were out in front of their houses enjoying the spring day.
If you are anywhere near a leaf blower you are breathing in pesticides, herbicides, fungi, molds, bacterial spores, insect parts, and animal fecal matter that are blown into the air at high velocity.
Yes great idea for the political hacks to allow this during a airborne type pandemic while more and more people are walking around!

You must live on the most landscaped block on Long Island. Move if your that worried about your health. I never have seen this extreme of an issue you explain from a leaf blower.
