No, the weather isn't making people cranky. We are Americans, and our entire history is based on valuing our freedom. Our forefathers died for our freedom. Our military sacrifices for our freedom. For heaven's sake, there is a huge push for jail reform all over this country because liberals even want freedom for criminals.

Not the weather. But because some don't want to be logical and realistic and don't care about anyone else's lives.

Then there are those who think they are invincible and can't get it and cannot fathom how they can transmit a contagious disease.

Even if you got the virus and survived and have the antibody, you can still transmit the virus.

A bit off topic, but here is a link to the New Yorker Magazine article showing the difference between Seattle and NYC. A real eye opener on why you want healthcare professionals and not politicians running the show. They claim deaths in NYC would now be 50 to 80 percent less had NY politicians closed things down when the healthcare leaders wanted to.

Listen up deniers... if you feel "its time", knock yourself out. Go for it. There is traction on this front and the half ass restrictions are already being loosened. You can go out. Take a trip to where the beaches are open. I hear cruises are a bargain. Life is too short.

The reality is that we aren't "locked down" to the extent other countries are... which others will point out is part of the problem since we never really did lock down. But hey, you've decided "its time". BTW, your idealistic (read: unrealistic) view of "returning to normal" means you're in for some major disappointment. Not everyone is a denier.

What a load of tripe! More BS has been done in the name of "our Freedom" than anything except religion. Meanwhile, take a knee on the sideline to protest getting a nightstick up yer behind and you'll be reminded how free you are. When your local PD spends $40m on SWAT and military gear, tell me how free you are. Good luck w/ that 2nd amendment if the real military deep state gets angsty. Really, good luck.

Agree 100%. As they say, put up. Or shut up.

I thought the deniers were that ones who deny any workers can return to work without a safe and effective vaccine administered to everyone. Or one of those dingbat-theory 'immunity cards'.

Thankfully, not everyone is a denier.

Now that it bat$#@! crazy... lol - and thankfully that's not even a "group" as I've never run into (or read) someone who thinks we can stay out of work until "a safe and effective vaccine administered to everyone".

Not specifically but the headlines feed the narrative globally - social distancing until there’s a vaccine.
