I think they have "procedures" in place. They are a big business.
Avalon, Eagle, Farfield these guys are so big. As you said they just follow the corporate procedure. They know no one will beat them in court. If you read the lease it's always in there favor and of course have lawyers on staff.

I beat both Fairfield and Heatherwood in small claims court over failure to return my security deposit in full.

I am in the other of the big three. What was your battle like? Is there anything I can learn from it?

In other words they were playing games with your security deposit.

That could be why they did not want to apply my security to rent even though they did an annual walk through not too long ago.

I've arrived very late to this thread although I have read the previous posts. Not sure this will be helpful but just wanted to ask, have you checked with any of the FEMA programs?

The following is a relatively older piece (March 24) & is focused on nonprofits & municipalities. I know that some have been receiving assistance & I wonder if they've expanded to benefit individuals?

Curran Urges Nonprofits and Municipalities to Apply for FEMA Reimbursements and Assistance

I'm sorry you're having these type challenges, it's gotta be very stressful.

Can’t be too stressful if he has millions in his 401K as alluded to in another thread.
