Hi all,

Hope everyone is well through all this mess.... what does anyone know about this area? QOL .. etc .. and any thoughts on the schools in the area? Particularly this district ? Thanks!

I will chime in and tell you that Locust Valley is a great area with good schools. If your considering a move I would say go for it, good choice. QOL is very good. It is smaller school district which can be a plus for some people.

I second that with an added caution. I worked with several LV residents and my boss was from there as well. There is a lot of old money in LV and there is a bit of snobbishness as a result. Like anything else this is a broad generalization and YMMV.

That is understandable … what I cant tolerate is inherent racism that can come with an area and lack of acceptance into the community
