Whoever you use, don’t let them upsell you into replacing the door. I found a guy in Queens and while he did a good job, he first tried to sell me a new door by saying how old the door was. I said what does that matter, this spring broke and can easily be replaced. It literally took no more than ten minutes to replace both springs.

Thank you, yes that is exactly why I'm asking around. I just want the springs replaced. Nothing more. I looked at Google but I don't trust those reviews.

Go to Home Depot, buy new springs, and install. What's the big deal?

I have used TM Kenney’s before in the past to address garage door issues for our commercial buildings. I’m pretty sure they will look at residential doors, they know what they are doing, but their price might be on the higher side. But if you call them, they will come.

Don't mess around with springs if you have no clue.
They are under high tension and can seriously maim/kill you.

I picked some guy on Homeadvisor.com that was highly rated to replace my springs. Came the same morning the spring broke and had a good experience.

beachdoorco.com is a little east of you but has been around a long time.

Hmmm, just noticed this is 3+ months old. Oh well.
