This is what happens when Caucasian’s stop wanting a traditional family. They had it made on this land built off slave labor. They stopped going to church. They stopped having families with many children as had always been traditional. 10 years from now it will only be way more equal in this country. A real melting pot. It’s time to pay the piper, we had a good run.

There's really no way around this, the fact is our history is rooted on the exploitation of others.
We can't rewrite history, but we can increase the awareness surrounding it.

Robert Moses for instance. So he is controversial because he did not want buses from the city coming out to Jones Beach? Because of Moses there IS a Jones Beach, a Jones Beach State Park that millions of ordinary people enjoy every year. And yes many of them come out from the city.
Without Moses the Town of Hempstead would likely have developed Jones Beach, yet another place for wealthy landowners to own oceanside houses like Fire Island or the Hamptons.
So tell me all you enlightened "wokes" who know so much more then the rest of us, would it have been better if Robert Moses did not build Jones Beach and instead it was private land for wealthy people - would that have been more inclusive???

Fake news. Slaves didn't actually build much of anything. Immigrants did. Mostly the Italians/Irish/Germans. As did our English founders. I would even include the Chinese considering all the work they did expanding the railroad to the West.
Slaves certainly made a contribution to the growth of this country, but let's not make it out to be more than it really was.
The clips of violent protestors trying to topple Andrew Jackson’s statue in DC last night show this sort of tantrum is quite a thrill to the mob.
Might seem like childish vandalism to others, after all the statue is not actually President Jackson (President Jackson’s been dead 200 years and it is a statue.) Perhaps next time the mob leaders could make a Jackson voodoo doll and participants could stick pins in it?
