We were shut-out of Robert Moses today - bridge already closed off by 1015am. Ended up at Jones (not willing to pay 3 times the cost at Tobay) and it wasn't bad at all with the half capacity. No incidents either.
Its too hot for me to run outside now. What kind of cardio are you doing?

Im eager to get back to the gym ... i would wear a mask. Undoubtedly for many people not having gyms is causing more harm than being at the gym would

You could try skipping rope in your house. If you have stairs, there are loads of cardio workouts using your own stairs.

The mask police types are fat lazy women that don’t exercise anyway, so they don’t care.

With sound logic like this governing his thoughts, we can not be amazed at ANYTHING he says or does.

Word from my local SD is students will be sitting in individual cubicles and required to wear a mask. They won’t leave the room for specials and they will eat lunch at their desks. Ritilen prescriptions will skyrocket!

It is looking like at least for my district, school will resume. My stepson got a form in the mail saying he is due for vaccinations and the school district just sent out a bunch of information on the reduced lunch program (we dont qualify) ... it leads me to believe they’re opening though. Because if the kids were staying home then why would they need lunch from the school?

Pending the OK from King Andy my local district says K-8 are going in full day (wearing masks when social distancing is not possible) while 9-12 are going every other day and wearing masks when social distancing is not possible. I'm sure there are more steps being taken given the narrative but that that is the scheduling.

Now that Covid-19 deaths are near 0 here on Long Island (just 3 over the last 15 days - -no info on co-morbidities), one wonders what the death number has to be to resume normalcy or at least high school outdoor sports on LI. Maybe there is no death number or even test number for this particular virus that would satisfy the woke folks at this point.

Note: Statistically 897 Long Islanders died without Covid-19 during the 15-day period the 3 Long Islanders were dying with Covid-19. There are 2,800,000 folks in Nassau/Suffolk. To put things in some sort of perspective.
