Exactly what I’ve been posting here for weeks! I know someone tested 3 times. Positive, then negative. No wonder “cases are skyrocketing”. Each counted as a positive CV statistic. Not saying this isn’t a real virus. However, enough with the “Agenda” politics.

Just keep everything shut though. Maybe next week they’ll tell us what to eat with our coffee in the morning.

Yes maybe one of those "investigative reporters" could investigate this.

False positives are the percentage of error you get with anything you consume, purchase or test for - nothing is 100% accurate or perfect. They even have a result called unequivocal. Anyways, they actually post a disclaimer in the results page of any lab test that you take that it is not 100% sensitive.

More then anything, you are trying to extrapolate this one incident and project it as a broader issue, when it should be to identify whether this is a systemic issue with all labs or truly an isolated issue. Otherwise, it is just creating noise, that is neither helpful nor useful.

I say that because, the lab contacts DOH and the State anyways to let them know of any issue. It is part of any successful compliance/ QA program.

Did you notice the article indicated “dozens” not thousands. Yes there have been errors relative to positive and also negative, a few anecdotes don’t equate to data. Besides Long Island is relatively flat so that isn’t the reason we are being cautious.
