Wow, such a riveting evidence. Now you go back and hide again just like all the Covid statements you've made.

We all know why they won’t bury the lines. Besides the cost the need for personal would be reduced by 60-70% and the unions don’t want that. My aunts place has buried lines has never had an outage in 5 years the place has been there.

Your rates would double if they decide to bury the lines. Wheres the $ coming from? Not to mention, it would probably be a 10yr project.

Clicking on a couple of areas it says the estimated restoration is August 6th at 2pm. Really, nearly 48 hours?!?

A second ago you just claimed it will be more expensive. Now the above is your obvious answer? Nice try.

Just like they're beyond re-doing the way LIRR works right?...

Or it's just a convenient reason to keep things the way they are.

You still didn't explain why they are so expensive. Because of management?

By the way, it's voila, not walla. Lol sense to stupid.

Lol exactly!! Anyone suggesting we can just bury the lines is living in La la land. Even old neighborhoods in FL still have lines above ground.

Start simple, work to get sewer systems first then you can try for buried power lines....

Not living in lala land. Just making a point about the antiquated grid, and the rates that we pay. Then again, that’s par for the course on LI. Top dollar for crumbling infrastructure and amenities.
