Lol!! I never put a lot of stock into these silly “lists”. One thing I noticed is a bunch of the safest areas in the top 20 are in the middle of nowhere like los alamos, NM. Of course it’s safe! Hardly anyone lives there!
I'm not sure I have much faith in a ranking that would put the Bronx in the top 20 but for a technicality:

Didn't you see the little asterisk that footnoted those were the police precincts?
Do these numbers include villages like Hempstead and Freeport ? I believe they don’t.

The violent crime rate is 4 times higher in Hempstead than Nassau county. So I think not. The property crime is much much higher in Hempstead. Really sad.
