Don't know anything about that place but you may want to drive in there over the weekend and take a look. If you spot a resident out and about there, ask them how it is there. Also be sure to drive there on a Friday and Saturday night (usual hangout nights) and see how it is.

It's a gated community. If they staff the gate house at all hours, you can't just go in and drive around

OP, have you read the house rules? If not, I suggest you do. They are itemized by subject. Make sure you can live with what they expect you to pay attention to or potentially get fined.

Thanks. Didn't know it was a gated community. But there should be some sort of rule that you can check out the place if you're looking to buy in there.

Another idea is pick an apartment in there that you're not interested in and go and view it. This way you can go in and look around.

Yes, and waste an agent's time They don't let you go in without being accompanied by an agent.

So if someone has their apartment up for sale in there, you can't go and look at it without an agent? That is ridiculous.

If it's listed with an agent, you will need to go with an agent, either your own or the listing agent.
If it's a FSBO, you would deal with the seller.

And with COVID, there are extra precautions to be considered.
