I live in Town of Hempstead and im looking to get 2 plastic ( Lifetime ) sheds. The Q is, is there a limit to how many sheds can i have on my property ?
I know that its supposed to be 2' away from the rear property line and 2' away from the side and that i dont need a permit if it does not exceed 144 sq ft of floor area.
But can i have more then one?
Thank you for your answers and please post references if possible.

Most residential zones limit to one accessory structure. The variance will likely cost more than the shed.

Anything under 54 cubic ft and 6' tall isn't even considered, which basically covers a tiny box for trash cans or tools. Maximum shed dimensions are correct: maximum 144 Sq ft (max 12' in either direction) and 9' height. Located 2' from rear and side property lines. If on a corner lot, the shed needs to be on the interior corner of the lot.

Exclusive of an accessory private garage and a cabana permitted as an accessory to a swimming pool pursuant to § 252A(6) of Article XXV, only one structure can be erected and thereafter maintained, and such structure shall be erected on the ground and in the rear yard only and shall not exceed 144 square feet of floor area, nine feet in height maximum and 12 feet horizontally maximum, unless authorized as a special exception by the Board of Appeals.
