-localities can opt out of allowing sales
-will take 18-24 months for the NYS red tape to be finalized no sales until then
-21 year old age limit
-9% statewide sales tax and more for additional THC
-if your driving cops can use smell toward probable cause toward a DWI but not to search your car for further drugs
-much of the money and sale licenses will go to job programs etc for “underserved” communities
-3 ounces max on your person. 5 plants max growing at home
-anti weed education program for children
-no vendors allowed to be built near schools or houses of worship

So you broke the law when it was ILLEGAL, but now get a pass? WTF? How does this make ANY sense? This country seriously is in trouble.
I don’t have any issue with this at all. BUT we all know we will never see any of the generated funds from this. Just another $ grab to fill the coffers just like bridge tolls, lotto, etc
Don't worry, all of our local leaders are sure to chase that tax revenue over the city border because they still think it's Levittown in 1947.
There is already 2 medicinal shops on 110 3 miles apart one across street from SUNY farmingdale other across st from the mall. I can see Nassau not allowing any.
