Just wondering, do you folks who link preprints actually read the replies and discussions at the bottom?
The idea of preprints is to get research and studies looked at quicker than peer review does, but they have the problem of getting sourced even when they are junk.

We drove from the Poconos last Sunday to pick up our daughter and 2 year old grandson to stay with us for a few days.

On our way back we stopped at a Mom and Pop Pizzeria in Deer Park. Vaccinations required? They weren't requiring masks either. Same for our last trip when we stopped at a chain restaurant. No masks required, let alone vaccination proof.

We travel to LI frequently to see our kids and grandkids. With these NYC Covid regulations we drive through the City and don't stop until we cross the border into LI.

Edit: Where we live in PA, there are none of these COVID regulations. My husband tested Positive last year and is fully vaccinated. I am unvaccinated and tested Negative. Guess I would be banned from these restaurants? Separate us?

This is only the case for certain things -- eating indoors, drinking at a bar, going to a movie theater, etc.

Stores and other businesses do not have any vax requirements (as of now).

I’ve yet to see any mask mandate enforced in a 7-11, deli, etc out here. Maybe the restaurant chains do?

The mandate is from the governor. Whether it is enforced may be up to the place of business especially in Nassau County where the new county executive says he won’t enforce it. I think most larger businesses will at least post a sign saying that masks are required by NY state. As far as vaccines, there is no vaccine mandate outside of NYC.
