We have enough problems with COVID, political divisions, inflation, taxes, and traffic congestion. Every day on the road I see reckless drivers cutting in and out, speeding, running red lights. Police patrols can't be everywhere. So please be careful. Don't speed. Use directional signals. And support law enforcement efforts in your community.

Pickup trucks, especially if they have thin blue line, trump support, and other cringe paraphernalia are the biggest offenders. Shoot, I’m even very right wing but would rather share the road with a bunch of other types.

When I go through the Babylon’s, most of my route is through school zones so I know to go a little slower and most cares ahead of me did the same. The guy in the Ford behind me was visibly getting riled up and totally lost his cool when I went to a four way stop in a another school zone. An area often well patrolled by both county and village police.

I go through this school heavy route because it has fewer lights and is generally faster during certain times of the day.

I have to admit to a guilty/ethically troubling positive take away from pickup truck drivers having this type of "rep". I am absolutely astounded at how driving a pickup has cut down on aggressive/aggravated/offensive incidents over when I drove my sedan. Seriously, eliminated by two thirds easily. I only have to assume it's the truck as my driving habits have remained the same.

Even the idiot in the white Dodge Challenger Hellcat that frequently travels the same route/same time of day as me is now backing off and giving a wide berth, including no longer racing out from behind me on a merge ramp to steal my turn, which made matters quite dangerous and unsafe. I don't think he realizes I'm the same driver now with a truck....

problem is the speed limits are too low for modern cars, if we did away with speed limits drivers would be more alert

I wonder how many people commuted yesterday and then decided to give the train another chance.
