Depends on county but it’s basically the same for all, 3-30 days is the real world number. We have done 5 evictions shortest was 11 longest 19 days. A person in our crap tenant list just evicted someone last week took them 14 days.

Florida has zero tolerance for non payers. They will allow a single unemployed mom with 4 kids to be thrown out. Some situations are messed up, it’s not my responsibility to house people.

^ If NY state helped the landlord more then maybe more people would be open to renting their house out. Then it would help relieve the lack of housing here.

The best way to do this would be to actually address local taxes so that homeowners didn't feel compelled to rent space in order to simply retain their own houses. But that won't happen.
