Update on the whole situation. My friend left his truck there as he’s going away for a long weekend. Neighbors to my right asked if they could park in front of our house since they’re getting work done to their house. I actually let them park in my drive way too. They have two cars in front of my house. You see…common courtesy still exists. I’ve never had an issue with these neighbors hence the reason I offered them to park on one side of my driveway. They actually told me they had to call animal control last week because the POS neighbors to my left dog tried biting their daughter while she was playing in her own yard.

Move out of state. Don’t buy. Rent for a bit until the interest rates come down. Plus, you will want to be sure you want to stay in that new neighborhood and it would be easier to leave if you rent. That said, there is no way to predict what neighbors you will have even after you move into a nice neighborhood. Good luck
Over the summer, an older woman parked her suv on the side of my house. I think she had a cane. I looked at her because I was outside and she was a few feet away. She looked at me and asked if it was ok to park there. I just said, “of course. I don’t own the street.” It was nice that she was courteous enough to ask but she really didn’t have to. I almost felt bad, but most people are not like her.
