It's not so much what's right for me. That's part of it, but also, I want to end a global pandemic... a pandemic that should've only last three months if everyone did what they were supposed to. This "I do me and you do you" is why Covid is still around for almost 4 years. We need to have a unified plan or else, we'll be dealing with this pandemic forever.
It's not going to happen and you need to face reality. Either live in fear or or deal with it. Maybe you need to talk to a therapist about this because it's clearly making you unhappy. (I am being serious) You cannot Isolate yourself from the world and life but you can be part of it while being safe. In another thread you mention you are a single guy. Do you talk with friends and family on the phone? The way you are living now is not healthy for your sanity.

I'm actually quite surprised many of you haven't caught Covid and don't think it's real. I caught it and I know many other people who caught it; and I know 2 people who got hospitalized because of it and one person that died from it.
So you can say, "live your life, Covid is a hoax", but I know first hand that Covid is real and is serious!

Havent gotten covid....... havent worn a mask in a really long time and am out everyday.

First of all I never said Covid was a hoax that's just an assumption you made. I never caught covid nor did my husband, however 4 family members on his side got it back in 2020 and 2021 so we stayed away. I do believe it is real but I also believe we don't have to continue to whole up in our homes, wear 3 masks and social distance anymore. Yes 3 masks I said it. saw many people with 3 masks on when covid first hit. This is

Last time I spoke with her, she was still advising me to be very careful out there, which is why I continue to be careful. I know, why do I listen to my mom? Because last time I didn't, I caught Covid and got an earful from her and a thousand "I told you so" lectures from her on the phone when I told her I contracted it. Don't want that happening again!
