From what I have heard the public is not welcome to visit those areas. It's a shame because there's some nice scenery up there, and a walk up to the Eaton's Neck Light from Northport and back would be nice, but from what I heard the police are like nazis down there and will ticket you for no reason. May not be worth it.

You are not welcome on holiday weekends for sure. All other times, you MUST drive ATLEAST 3-5 below the posted speed limit. It is a great place to visit!

Yep. we have customers there and our drivers know to drive below the limit.
