My cousin and I were driving back from Montauk Pt. and went right through the Moriches area when the worst of the storm was happening.
I'm from FL so I've seen weather like that before, but he was really scared.
We were driving west on Monatauk Hwy. Trees and limbs were falling left and right! A branch swiped his car as he was driving by. Then a huge portion of a tree fell on a white SUV in front of us smashing through the guys windshield. It was literally like a hurricane out there.
Most of my pictures did not come out because it was so dark from the storm, but here's a few I got.
